A remote controller for the physically disabled

I designed a universal assistive remote for the physically disabled. It is made in the form of a wearable gadget for the maximum comfort and simplified user experience. The primary control of the universal remote takes place on the air. Once it’s on the wrist, the user can control the mouse cursor or any contents on the screen by hovering the controller on the air. The clicking gesture has also been simplified by relocating the buttons right below the palm area, making it easier to press by flicking the wrist.

People with disabled or injured arms and hands are incapable of making precise controls such as locating the mouse cursor, pressing trigger buttons or clicks. Even grabbing the controller properly could be a struggle for many. I wanted to fix this problem by designing an ergonomic- universal remote controller for the common digital controls such as computing, gaming and calling.
