Soul Ahn
Hello, my name is Soul Ahn. I am a designer based in Eindhoven, Netherlands. After receiving my Bachelor of Industrial Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven, I have been delving deeper into technology and design.
Originally from South Korea, I spent most of my school years in the US before moving to the Netherlands, which has influenced my approach to design.
My passion for product design began with gadgets like computers, phones, and cameras, leading me to create hundreds of sketches. I have a long-standing interest in designing assistive devices, inspired by my experience as an assistant at a special care school for disabled children. I strive to create better assistive devices to improve the lives of those with physical disabilities.
I am fascinated by the rise of artificial intelligence and its impact on industrial design. AI is driving the industry into new, uncharted territories, offering unprecedented opportunities for innovation. I am eager to explore how AI can create smarter, more adaptive products.
In addition to AI, I am deeply invested in sustainable design, exploring recycled plastics, bio-based materials, and repurposing everyday objects. My goal is to create products that people want to reuse, combining innovative technology with sustainable materials.
I am committed to mastering the skills necessary to bring my design ideas to life and make a meaningful impact.
